Project Overview

Mt. Carmel Place is a 61-unit housing facility for seniors 55 years and older, with incomes at or below 60% of the median family income for the area (AMI), with half of the units allocated for those with incomes below 50% of AMI. The 3-story development features one and two bedroom units, a library, meeting space, a resident-only community room, and a public community room for use by area residents. Mt. Carmel Place also has an activity center to foster wellness, senior activity, and a sense of community among the residents. The development is in close proximity to the Breidenthal Youth and Family Service Center, which allows cross -generational programming and senior involvement in community activities.
